Just days before my next trip to Poland I want to share some great finds from my last adventure in Warsaw. It has been more than 2 months but things got so busy here…But here it is.
It was a cold December day right before Christmas and I was strolling the busy streets looking for some last minute gifts (I brough an entire suitcase of presents with me from New York but I just could not help myself…). It was then that I saw a store, which name simply stopped me in my tracks. Pies czy Suka read the name (Dog or Bitch) and I knew that there must be something special and totally unexpected inside. I was right.
The creative husband and wife duo of Beata and Pawel Konarski is behind the most unusual concept design store in Warsaw. It’s a store but it is also a bar and the only thing on the menu are cocktails. But, as I read in Spotted by Locals (http://www.spottedbylocals.com/warsaw/pies-czy-suka/) if alcohol is not your drink, the bartender will whip out a milk shake!!!!
The store is full of crazy and whimsical home accessories in wild colors. I can imagine those would be great house warming presents.
