For years design enthusiasts revered the iconic Zebras pattern by Scalamandre. Started as a wallpaper pattern for the famous Gino’s restaurant, this design has true magic to it. Its most popular colorway – Masai Red was used over and over again by some of the big names in interior design. And it’s still fresh today. Did you see my post about 2012 Kips Bay Decorator Show House? Masai Red Zebras are the first thing you see when you enter the apartment.
If you can’t live without the Zebras pattern you can now bring it with you wherever you go. Couple of years ago I got myself a humongous golf umbrella in the iconic Masai Red (there is also a smaller version) and just today I found out that Scalamandre released a canvas tote so you can bring your Zebras with you regardless of the weather. There are also scarves in silk in addition to home accessories such as candles and throw pillows. Some of the products come in several color way. Check out Scalamandre.com for details and put those fancy stripes on!
