Coastal Living Ultimate Beach House - front door
I know fall is here and half of the country is covering up their outdoor furniture and getting ready to batten down the hatches ahead of winter storms. But I thought that this is THE PERFECT time to take a look at what next summer can be like. I am planning a major overhaul of our own little beach house next year, with new roof, new exterior paint, perhaps some shutters and lots of new landscaping. So I was very happy to finally get a sneak preview of Coastal Living magazine’s Ultimate Beach House tour.
It started with this pretty front door – I love how clean and simple it looks. I saved this picture for next year. Our house won’t look anything like it – we are working with a 1960 Connecticut style coastal colonial (I know I just invented something!) but this image inspires me anyway. How about you?
